Complete Footcare
The average adult takes 4000 to 6000 steps a day and our feet carry us the equivalent of five times round the earth in an average lifetime. As a result, over time it is feasible that you may encounter a complaint. Our practitioners are at hand to provide highly qualified diagnosis, advice and treatment to every patient.

Despite many people suffering from foot problems most of the population do not visit a Chiropodist/Podiatrist regularly. To help prevent foot problems we recommend that you have an annual foot health check. Many elderly people suffer from painful and uncomfortable feet but these problems can be overcome, making the feet more comfortable and maintaining mobility.
Services
Complete FootCare is a family focused practice that has in excess of 50 years combined experience. We have a selection of fully qualified Podiatrists who work closely together and provide skilled and highly experienced treatment for all your foot complaints. Please also see our Standards section to fully understand the bodies we are members of to enable us to provide the best patient care possible.
All our Practitioners are HCPC Registered and members of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists. For more details please see our Standards section. Eleanor qualified from the Plymouth School of Chiropody (now University of Plymouth) in 1987. She has 29 years post graduate experience in both the NHS and private sector.
Most general conditions will be covered in a routine treatment, including nails, hard skin, corns and calluses. The Podiatrist will provide any relevant foot health advice and discuss any concerns you have regarding the health of your feet. An initial standard routine appointment and foot health check is carried out to see if you qualify for our nail cutting service.
We are a member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) formerly the Health Professions Council, who assume responsibility for the regulation of Chiropodists & Podiatrists (alongside a number of other Health and Care Professions).

HCPC standards play a key role in ensuring public protection by making sure that Chiropodists & Podiatrists in England have the competency, knowledge, values and behaviour expected of them by members of the public and employers alike. The HCPC is responsible for setting standards, approving and monitoring education and training programmes.
