The Clifton String Quartet & Trio offer a professional, reliable service with musical performances of the highest caliber. We can travel to any South West venue, from small corporate offices and churches to public buildings. The Clifton String Quartet was launched in 2000.
The four musicians (two Violins, Viola and 'Cello) are all professionally trained musicians who have performed together for several years, as well as performing independently in various professional chamber and orchestral ensembles.The quartet regularly perform in recitals and concerts and has been invited to play at a wide range of events and functions including naval dinners, weddings, corporate events and parties.

Services
In 2014 we launched our string trio option for smaller venues and budgets. This has proved both very successful and popular. The players have also been building a recital programme, performing in prestigious concert series' in Devon. Julie Hill [Violin] studied for a degree in music before being awarded a Laura Ashley Foundation Scholarship to pursue postgraduate performance studies at the Welsh College of Music and Drama.
We have over fifteen years experience of providing music for wedding ceremonies. During that time we have played at hundreds of civil and religious wedding ceremonies, civil partnerships and drinks receptions. Our packages can be tailored to your own wedding day plans - we play for combinations of guests arriving, the ceremony, champagne receptions and wedding breakfasts.
The string quartet and trio repertoire is very suitable for all kinds of events and we are able to select the ideal music to suit your individual requirements. Our repertoire is constantly expanding but we also pride ourselves on trying our very best to find any special requests. Our experienced music arrangers are able to help with any music not already available.
We have been fortunate to receive many kind letters and comments following our performances. Thank you so much to you and the rest of the Clifton Quartet for playing so beautifully at our wedding reception. The music gave the reception a very relaxed feel and contributed wonderfully to the musical wedding I always wanted.
