The practice of issuing limited edition prints originated at the turn of the century. It offered a means by which collectors could enjoy high quality artworks without paying the high prices demanded for the original paintings. Buyers also knew that the prints were commissioned and their production supervised by the original artist.
So it is with our prints. Each print is published by Charlton Fine Arts, authenticated and strictly limited to individually numbered specimens and signed by the artist. No expense has been spared in their reproduction. We have used light-fast inks and printed on PH neutral paper to ensure that the artist's colours retain their vibrancy for many years.

We trade with a small number of privately owned, individual shops and galleries who work alongside us to market our prints. We do not wish The Margaret Loxton Collection to be sold through large high street chains but prefer to work with small, independent retailers.
We aim to give each retailer an approximate 50 mile radius exclusivity area and we will regularly direct our customers to your shop, as we do not have a retail outlet ourselves, apart from this website.We are primarily a mail order company and we advertise regularly in various lifestyle magazines. We can list the shops who stock our prints on these adverts and we have a strong vested interest in customers purchasing through you.
