Classic cars and spectacular scenery make a perfect touring holiday whether it is in the beautiful English Lakes, the majestic Scottish Highlands or across Europe. Classic Car Tours (MK) provide the best driving experiences in the UK and beyond. All our routes are designed to provide the best scenic views and the quietest roads, often "off the beaten track" which most people wouldn't find on their own.
The roads are chosen to offer a real driving experience, sometimes moderately challenging but always a pleasure to drive whatever your cherished vehicle. None of the Tours are in any way competitve, although if you would like to know more about these sorts of events please ask. Tour participants are free to travel at their own pace either in convoy or separately.

Mike Kirk first became involved in Motorsport in the mid 1960's (when he were 'nobbut a lad), with Kirkby Lonsdale Motor Club. This combined with a love of maps and a GCE in Geography, led to a 30 year career in the Ordnance Survey, Britain's national mapping agency. From 1968 to 1999 Mike surveyed the roads (and other features) of the North of England until he accepted 'an offer he couldn't refuse' (redundancy/early retirement).
Almost immediately after leaving the Station we are treated to our first spectacular view over Killington Lake with the Howgill Fells in the background. As we descend towards Sedbergh the Howgills get closer and we can see the valleys of Garsdale and Dentdale ahead. We then turn off into the picturesque Cautley valley before traversing 'The Tommy Road' into Mallerstang and the Eden Valley to Nateby.
