Central Dry Cleaners is an independent family run business that has been operating in the Bournemouth and Poole area for over four decades. We have been stationed at 184 Holdenhurst Road since 1992. We have a wealth of knowledge in the dry cleaning industry so it would be safe to say that we know our business very well.
Found in Bournemouth, we are based away from the hustle and bustle of the square just past the train station. We have ample free easy parking outside our shop which is very convenient for dropping off or picking up your washing on the way to and from work.

I started dry cleaning back in the 1970s when I used to help my dad with his work in the local drycleaners. I was probably about 10 years old at the time and I loved it! I then got a Saturday job there when I was in my teens and helped out in the school holidays. When I left school my dad opened his first dry cleaning shop in Tuckton and soon after that I went to work with him.
Take the hassle out of washing your own bedding and let Central Dry Cleaners do it for you. We offer a bespoke laundry service that is better than any launderette as we don't wash your clothes with other people's washing. All clothes are beautifully hand pressed for a fantastic finish. And yes we can clean duvets, quilts, eiderdowns and sleeping bags.

DO NOT USE SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN
Took in my sons Canada goose coat for dry cleaning and left it with them
We had a call from the owners father saying the toggles has melted in the machine, did not accept any responsibility and said thank god there were no other items in with it,
When I asked for the insurance details the owner who had returned from holiday was abusive and told us he was keeping my coat and wanted to take pictures of it, it’s clearly been put on too hot as the back emblem has been mishapened, they are rude unprofessional and frankly do not give a toss if your garment is ruined

We just used this outfit and got totally dismissed when we took the suit they had damaged back to complain
the right said Fred lookalike who seems to run the operation when presented with the shrinker suit sold me on a long one that suits can't shrink
Going on to say That if I gave him a million pound you wouldn't be able to shrink it.
Accepted absolutely no liability and told me that maybe I put on weight since 3 days ago making it now not fit.
He didn't check the label and made claims that my wool suit was a man-made fibre

I have visited twice, both times a waste. The first time I asked if they could repair a zip. "No." I asked if they knew somewhere I could get it fixed, and the answer was "Try somewhere that fixes zips!" About a year later I needed a leather jacket cleaned. As they are nearest to me, I thought I'd try. "No." again. "Do you know anywhere that does clean leather?" "Don't know."
