They will make many basic safety checks during the sweeping of your chimney and can advise you on any safety concerns.

I called this company for the annual chimney clear out, as a friend had used them. Very pleased from start to finish with the services provided. A full sweep of the chimney, fire safety and carbon monoxide advice passed on, and certification for the work undertaken. A very professional, clean and prompt service. We will be using this company every year going forward, and more than happy to recommend to others.

From the second I spoke to Alec on the phone to book having our chimney swept, to the second he left following the job, I have nothing but the highest praise for Alec and Swept Away Chimney Services.
Alec is both highly professional and personable – a really nice bloke. Firstly, I had no Covid 19 issues about letting Alec into our home. His risk assessment, on-line advice and precautions prior to entering and whilst in the property were amongst the best I have encountered from a contractor.
Alec’s knowledge of his trade is outstanding. Not only relating to the actual cleaning and future maintenance
