Catlins is a fully licensed cattery which has built up a loyal customer base over more than 21 years. It enjoys a very pleasant open aspect in beautiful Essex countryside, situated just east of Colchester near Elmstead Market. The accommodation is designed in the chalet style, with large outdoor runs for the cats to enjoy.

I can't fault Catlins in any way mean or form. All the staff have been extremely polite on each of our visits and are very understanding towards our cats needs. If there are any issues with your cat during their stay they are noted and you are advised when collecting them.

We have used Catlins ever since we got our cats 13 years ago. I could not think of letting anyone else look after our boys! The staff really care about their welfare, making sure they get their favourite food. One of our cats really does not like being away from home and has a few behavioural problems, but everyone understands him now and they make sure his needs are met. Our other cat laps up all the attention and enjoys his stay. We can relax on our holiday because we know our cats are safe and being well cared for. I thoroughly recommend Catlins.

Emma and the girls were brilliant with my seven cats. They were so relaxed and happy after there weeks stay at Catlins. They had all put on a little weight and were well looked after.
The girls played with them, cuddled and groomed them and most of all listened to all there individual likes and dislikes with food. They had warm blankets in their beds with heaters for chilly evenings. Emma took time to understood there personalities.
We spoke at length twice before the holiday and Emma sent some pictures whilst we were away. I collected them and Emma called me after we were home to make sure we

Our siberian brothers were very well taken care of for 2 weeks. The staff are very kind and friendly. We were sent a number of updates during the holiday, which we really appreciated. The ultimate test however, was seeing our cats cuddling up to the staff members as well as to us when we went to get them. They had clearly been very well taken care of and given plenty of attention. Would definitely use again.

I have used Catlins for more than ten years and am always very happy with the care and attention my two cats receive during their stay. The accommodation is clean, roomy and well maintained, whilst the edge-of-village location means that my cats have a peaceful stay and are less stressed by the experience.
