Established in 1979 Elliotts who operate The Cambridge Renewable Energy Centre have extensive knowledge in supplying and installing Energy Efficient heating and cooling systems. With our installation partners we have installed over 5,500 heat pumps and helped customers to access millions of pounds of grants.
We have a fully working Daikin low temperature air to water heat pump providing all your hot water needs, heating radiators and under floor heating. A de-aerator recovers oxygen and other dissolved gasses from the water in your heating system increasing efficiency. An evaporative water cooler can cool a building down using under 10% of the energy of air conditioning.
Air source heat pumps/Air to water heat pumps There are 2 main types of heat pumps that we install. Our Ground Source Heat Pumps In a world where Global Energy demands are becoming unsustainable Elliotts took the decision. This new system offers the Daikin Altherma and Hydrobox as a one off package situated in the garden/outside connected to.
The Daikin Altherma system provides the hot water for staff toilets and kitchen, under floor heating, radiators, towel rails and a JAGA oxygen low water content radiator. The system is complete with Condenser, Hot water tank, Hydrobox, Solar enabling kit and Solar panel. Daikin Altherma is probably the most energy efficient air to water heat pump available with very high c.o.p.'s.
Altherma provides an ideal energy efficient solution using renewable air to water heat pump technology for a new self build bungalow in Norfolk. The Cornwell's already had solar water heating in their previous bungalow and used electric heating and hot water due to there being no gas supply available in their area.
