This space aims to inspire creative action! It's a space to allow me to rattle on about printmaking and plants, which are two things that I love. I'm guessing that you love them too, that's why you've found this website! I've tried lots of different printing techniques but it's Lino that really hits the spot for me.
If you visit the printmaking page it will show you the different styles that I'm drawn to. Plant medicine is safe, natural and holistic and works in harmony with the body. Today, Herbal Medicine embraces the use of traditional plant remedies backed up by scientific research. I especially love reduction Lino prints, where you use one plate and carve away each printed colour.

I love reduction Lino prints from the initial sketches and working out the colours to the exciting final print that pulls everything together. Redution linocut uses a single block to achieve a multi coloured, unique print. The block is progressively carved away after each colour that is printed leaving only the final stage of working.
Just send me an email with the print that you would like and your details so we can sort postage and payment. Your print will come with an authentication certificate and be carefully packaged for protection on its journey to you. This image has been hand printed using two carved Lino blocks, so I can create a number of different colours which will all be slightly different.
I adore trees and plants! These days I crave peace, quite and the time to sit and appreciate the beauty of our trees, hedgerows and greenery. I qualified as an Medical Herbalist in 2009 after studying for my degree in Herbal Medicine at Lincoln University. I love the idea that everyone can have a herb patch in the garden for making teas, lotions and potions.
