Placed an order for £170 of frozen boilies. I have paid the extra for AD+ membership and placed many orders in the past. The policy that angling direct have is to not ship frozen goods on a Friday as there is no Saturday delivery, we knew that and expected the delivery to be shipped on the Monday to receive on Tuesday. There warehouse shipped the… order on the Friday which meant the frozen boilies sat with parcel force all weekend! We spoke with customer service Saturday morning and admitted fault and assured us if we refused delivery on the Monday they would definitely send a fresh

Do not buy from this company they have let me down twice now on ordering rods off the website they so say in stock only to be told it’s out of stock,I was told would get a discount on another rod.Nobody even had the decency to let me know they didn’t have the item,avoid the stress and shop else where,the manager was abrupt on the phone,no point in contacting tracing standards os it’s in there terms and conditions that the item might no be in stock,whats the point in saying it’s in stock when it’s not?

Can you award no stars? Shocking customer service. I recently made an order and in doing so, I was sent via email a £10 off voucher to be used in December. Having put this to one side, I have now come to use it, and the link in the email no longer works. I emailed Customer Services thinking this would be pretty straightforward to sort -… apparently not! The chap simply wasn't interested. Apparently I would need to make another order! lol The good news is that there are hundreds of angling shops out there where I can take my business. Definitely would not recommend Angling Direct.

Fantastic service, had a Proplem twice and the Service team sorted it out between the Norwich and Fosters (Birmingham) branch's with kind words,patience a quick turnaround even though this was during the Lockdown,can't see enough kind words about them but Thank you kindly to all the Staff,your management deserve to be proud of you.

Parcelforce failed to deliver my next day parcel in 4 days and told them not to bother and return to sender. Asked for a refund and have to wait for parcelforce to deliver the items back to angling direct before they'll refund even though it was through no fault of my own and packages were sitting in their depot. First and last time I'll ever order from here.

Looks like a common theme parcel turns up 5 days late after paying 48 hrs, given a load of waffle by staff about parcel force being busy and i would have to return parcel to get refund. ANGLING DIRECT WAKE UP SMELL THE COFFEE you choose your courier if they are letting you and your customers down choose another...you must be losing customers from the feedback on here on a large scale. Will not use you again until you do.

Appalling Service! Placed an order for 2 items which the site said were both in stock and would be delivered within 48 hours. Contacted the company when I didn't receive the items and was informed that they were experiencing technical difficulties which meant some items were incorrectly showing as in stock, but was told they would get the items dispatched asap.

If I could give no stars on this company I would.
I will never touch this company again. When I brought something from them and paid for it they never said it was out of stock for 2 weeks.
I have now had to e mail them on the day they said that the product I brought would be back in stock. They have now said it will be another week before it is in stock, they say great customer service on their website, I couldn't think of another company with worse customer service. Awful!

Large floor space with a lot of equipment caters for all fishing disciplines easy to browse comfortable well lighted area staff can be helpful when approached.Parking at front of shop limited parking at back of shop seems to be shared with other businesses. Not all items are price marked, no discount or competitive pricing, new web site poor,always double check item in stock before making a journey.A supermarket type shop not an anglers shop.
