I decided on a career in Chiropractic after receiving Chiropractic treatment for a knee and back injury, which I sustained playing Rugby in my teens. I was so impressed by the treatment I decided to study Chiropractic at university. After graduating from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2004 with a BSc (Hons) in Chiropractic, I worked for 7 years at a Chiropractic clinic in Milton Keynes, before setting up my own business.

Deep soft tissue massage, trigger-point therapy and cross-friction are used to reduce muscle tightness. Performing specific exercises to increase strength and flexibility is very important to minimise future problems. Your Chiropractor will give you advice on day to day activities to minimise future problems.

Back pain will affect 80% of all of us at some point in our lives and often starts for no obvious reason, which makes it all the more frustrating. Chiropractic has been shown to speed recovery from both short-term and long-term back problems.

The current National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence(NICE) guidelines recommends Chiropractic treatment for back pain and suggests that GPs should refer back pain patients for Chiropractic treatment.Neck pain and associated headaches are a common problem in our society. These problems are often caused by postural strain due to poor sitting/sleep posture and prolonged desk/computer use.

Your first visit will last 45 minutes to an hour within this time the Chiropractor will take a detailed medical history and case history for your complaint. You may be required to remove some of your clothes and given a gown to wear. Privacy will be provided to do this. The chiropractor will then do a full examination including vital signs if deemed necessary.
