Polarfrost Seafoods was founded in 1982 as an importer of mainly Frozen at Sea Fillets to the independent wholesale trade in the UK. Today Polarfrost Seafoods continues to have very strong trading links with many of the factory trawlers it worked with.
In addition it has forged close business associations with a number of the new and more modern freezer filleting vessels that have joined various fleets, operating not only in the North Atlantic, but also in the various white fish fisheries around the world giving the company access to a wide range of species including Hoki fillets, Alaskan Pollock fillets, Capensis Hake fillets, Catfish fillets, Cod fillets, Haddock fillets, Redfish fillets and Saithe fillets.
