About Us Report

Antica Roma Restaurant is located within walking distance of Rochford town's centre. This Grade II Listed Building is believed to date from the 17th century, but most of the features visible today date from the 18th and 19th centuries. For most of the existence, from its origins right up to the 21st Century, the building was an inn, known as the Old Ship.

Authentic Italian. Service was great! Like a slice of Italy. Tasty specials. Food tasted fresh. Perfect place for our large group celebrating a special birthday like us! Just as good as a couple of years ago when we visited for a family birthday

Got to be one of the best restaurants in Essex, not just Italian restaurant. It is personal, friendly, welcoming, with superb service and the most delicious food you’ll find anywhere.

If you’re ever thinking of going to a Zizi, Ask or Prezzo, just drive an extra whatever and come here, you’ll never go anywhere else again.
