The Southern School of Popular Singing, established 15 years ago, provides first class vocal tuition to a wide range of pupils across the South of England from it's two vocal studios in Southampton, Hampshire and Salisbury, Wiltshire. We have 5 private voice coaches who offer singing lessons for all levels of ability from children from the age of 6 through to professional singers wishing to improve their technique.
A diverse range of styles are catered for, using innovative vocal coaching methods that have been tried and tested on over a hundred grammy award winning artists. Our vocal studios are easily accessed by road, rail or bus with pupils traveling not just from Southampton and Salisbury, but Winchester, Fareham, Portsmouth, Chichester, Basingstoke, Warminster and even Bristol and Bath.

Services
Over the years that The Southern School of Popular Singing has been open, we have built an outstanding reputation for working with younger singers. Whilst it is fair to say that the more intricate parts of vocal technique may be a little beyond toddlers, we do have students from 6 years old upwards and are happy to teach someone younger as long as their attention span will allow!
Teaching slots are available at The Southern School of Popular Singing between 10am and 9pm Monday to Saturday. To book individual time slots with any of our coaches, you can either phone or email the two branches as detailed below. It is not ideal to use the coaches' individual emails for bookings or cancellations, as they may not be able to check their school emails on days when they are not teaching.
