I purchased upholstery fabric and was so pleased with my purchase I rang up I Want Fabric to tell them how thrilled I was. This fabric is very good value for money, I used it for outside sofa cushions and as advertised it is water resistant, it does not soak through to the padding at all and after it rains dries off the surface very quickly.
As it is water resistant the fabric is rather thick which can be slightly hard on your hands when hand sewing more than three layers together, however no issues sewing with machine. Bottle green was the colour I chose which is beautiful and vibrant with so far no sign of fading in the sun. Drawing the pattern onto the back of the fabric is very easy with chalk pencil or HB pencil as both show up really well.

I ordered 4 metres of zip online. When I came to use the zip for my project, I realised I had only been sent 3 metres and 30cm of zip however I was told that because I raised an issue with the order outside that 28 days policy nothing could be done. I wasn't even offered an apology or discount code as a gesture. I just don't understand how such an error could be made when it is the company's trade to cut fabric and zips to size. Disappointed with the customer service response to this.

Still awaiting some items but so far the level of service I have received is brilliant, I ordered a couple of things they didn't have left, I received a call advising me and asking what course of action they should take. I felt that was great service as with some companies the most you would get is an email.

I ordered through the website and the service was very fast. I live in Ireland but I received my fabric in two days. The quality is excellent BUT I ordered 32 metres and it came in two pieces stitched together in the middle. I bought this fabric for three pairs of matching curtains in one room which could have been a disaster but I cut from top and bottom so it worked out fine. Just be aware to ask if you need a continuous piece

The fabric i received was absolutely fabulous its really thick lots of body in it not like when you buy ready made curtains which are so thin and don't keep out the light. I have bought the blackout lining as well which is good quality.
The colour was spot on and i am really impressed with this company.
Will definitely order again as good quality fabric at a low price.

I purchased a dark grey fabric for a set of living room curtains and four scatter cushions which were made for me. The window is 4m wide so it’s a large area to cover. I was a little apprehensive about buying so much fabric online, especially as it wasn’t half as expensive as some fabrics I’d seen elsewhere, but I needn’t have worried because the quality is excellent. I am even more delighted with the fabric now that it’s been made into lined eyelet curtains and matching cushion covers. They all look very expensive!
