Critical: Responsiveness
3 years working with DA and I do agree with previous comments, VERY POOR COMMUNICATION and responses if any!! From the staff.. I love my job as an interpreter and although I do work a lot with DA , I am still struggling with their la k of communication indeed. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Booking agents are very very unprofessional and incompetent, on several occasions they were asked and told not to disturb me if I'm not logged in as it is more than likely that I'm seeing a patient and that my main employment is at the top of my list.
Financial department is a complete joke as they always tend to forget agreed rates, miscalculations are normal and very frequent and it takes ages to get them rectified...
There is always a lack of assignments and their assigning procedures are very shady, don't even remember on how many occasions I've agreed to take an assignment after being asked

I have been working with DA Languages for over 2 years and I have had enough. Worst translation and interpreting agency to work for. As someone with a passion for language and translation, this agency only tarnishes it. Booking coordinators are rude, offer little to no help and the lack of communication is ridiculous. The amount of times I have attended venues, only to find that the client or patient hasn't even turned up or that there has been an error with the booking itself is countless. It is no way to treat people. Not only this but the pay is abysmal. Will be finding work elsewhere. Only

If you call their number, you wait on hold for a very long time to then speak to someone who sounds very bored and has no interest in helping you.
I rang to advise them that the appointment time had changed by 30 minutes, unfortunately this was a last minute change so I needed them to inform the interpreter immediately. I waited on hold for a while then they asked me to request the change in writing. An absolutely ridiculous request given the time frame and the likelihood the interpreter was already on their way or in fact at the venue. The person on the phone offered no reassurance that the situation

Not finding this helpful at all - I am a professional using this service multiple times a week - and if i had a choice of which interpreter service to use it would not be this one but my employer have contracted to this. They only offer an on demand telephone system so if i try and book a regular slot for a client, say weekly at 10am on Wednesdays, there is no guarantee of an interpreter. Multiple times in the last 8 weeks I have been let down and my clients suffer. I have lodged complaints and raised it higher but no response. Sorry but I cannot in good conscious recommend.
