Services
Monarchs Childcare is conveniently situated near the town centre of Grays, Essex. This very large 4 storey building provides outstanding facilities for children aged birth to 14 years. This beautiful Edwardian building, built in 1901, provides a high quality, stimulating and rewarding environment for all the children.
Babies benefit from a large, bright open plan day room, well equipped with activities and toys suitable for their age. They have a messy play area where they are encouraged to develop and grow through the use of creative activities. They benefit from a sensory area which encourages the child's senses through a soothing and stimulating environment.
The 3 - 5 nursery is located on the lower ground floor and is divided into four open plan areas. This caters for our 3-5 year old children whose daily routine prepares them for their move to school. The rooms are well equipped with a book corner, a role play area, construction area and creative area for messy play, as well as a child focused IT system which the children all have access to.
All children at Monarchs are encouraged to learn through play. Our Curriculum includes all the key areas of the new Early Years Foundation Stage and is designed to meet the needs of each individual child and ensures each child is provided with opportunities to help them learn and develop. Monarchs have qualified teachers dedicated to achieving the highest level of teaching across the curriculum.
The Toddlers benefit from a two rooms which are equipped with a book corner, numeracy area, knowledge and understanding, construction area to develop coordination and an interactive whiteboard system. They also benefit from a dedicated home corner which encourages their role-play. They have the flexibility to include a "messy area" for children to develop their sensory experiences.

Elijah started holiday club here recently and he absolutely loves it, staff are lovely And even went on a trip today and did zip wiring and his not stopped talking about it, it's really made his Easter Holidays fun, Elijah has said it's really fun. And he loves there outside area too! Highly recommend there Holiday Club
