Established in 1995, we are sliding wardrobe specialists and do not install hinged doors. Our bespoke wardrobes are fitted with made to measure sliding wardrobe doors and bespoke interiors. Combining years of very high quality carpentry experience with a flair for design, we work to a high standard and are as happy to produce simple and functional wardrobes as larger projects - our attention to detail always remains the same.
To help you visualise your finished wardrobe, we produce 3D CAD drawings. We are passionate about design, quality and functionality and provide free, no obligation quotations. Services
Established in 1995, Sussex Wardrobes is an independent, family run business owned and run by Dave Golden, in Brighton, East Sussex. We are sliding wardrobe specialists and do not install hinged doors. We have built our business on word-of-mouth recommendations. In order to keep our costs competitive, we do not operate a showroom or employ salespeople.
We have a wide range of made-to-measure and standard, fixed sized sliding wardrobe doors to choose from. Our range of wardrobe interiors which can be customised to perfectly match your choice of sliding doors. Our free standing furniture furniture range, designed to complement to your sliding wardrobes.

We aim to make the process of designing your new wardrobe, easy and straightforward. We are often able to provide accurate designs and quotations prior to visiting your home. Before we book a home visit, we ask if you can provide us with some information for an initial design and quotation. This helps us to understand your requirements and to make sure the service we provide is suitable for you.
Sussex Wardrobes currently arrange the majority of our deliveries by Home Delivery Solutions (HDS). Our made to measure sliding wardrobe doors, shelving and some other components are delivered directly to our customers, in advance of installation. Our prepared wardrobe framework and end panels are stored in our workshop and brought with us on the 1st day of installation.

This company was great to deal with. From the initial enquiry to completion of fitting our wardrobes David was always prompt to respond to any query we may have had. Once on site he was a pleasure, always clean and tidy whilst working and completed the project within the timescale stated.
Overall we would highly recommend Sussex Wardrobes.

Great from start to finish! (bit of a pandemic in the middle as well) Good design, good pricing and great adaptability in design - great use of space for the area and really good storage options. Always polite and punctual, kept mess to a minimum and finished in good time! Due to pandemic was unable to finish all of it but kept updated and as soon as was allowed/we felt comfortable came back and completed! Really happy with it - would recommend to everyone!

Fantastic bespoke service and fantastic wardrobes. Great customer service provided by Dave, nothing was too much trouble; from tweaking the design at the last minute, to waiting for the doors to be delivered and helping us to store them and all during the pandemic. Ivan and Dave's workmanship was perfect and they left no mess once the job was completed. We love our new wardrobes and they look amazing in our ultra modern home. Thoroughly recommend Sussex Wardrobes if you are looking to get fitted wardrobes.

Dave at Sussex Wardrobes recently designed and fitted a built in sliding wardrobe, under stairs cupboards and shelving along with some bedroom cupboard doors.
From the our first communion Dave was punctual and really understood what we wanted to achieve. Within a matter of days he provided some great designs and we were able to make some alterations to suit our requirements. His communication was prompt and the prices were very competitive.
When he installed the items Dave was very prompt and tidy. Each step of project he ensured that we was happy with the design and allowed us to make alterations
