Services
We are a small company with a combined experience of over 40 years in Piano restoration & polishing, with a sound knowledge of both traditional and contemporary finishes. Traditional craftsmanship such as we employ is rapidly disappearing, as are the materials & tools originally employed by our predecessors.
Located in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, approximately 20 minutes from Leeds city centre, we deal in all types of Pianos, we offer low cost piano rentals and should you wish to purchase at a later date, we deduct all Rental payments upto *12 months maximum* for Acoustic pianos. We have second hand modern uprights & restored period Pianos for sale if you prefer the traditional look.
The Refinishing of a Piano is a highly specialized field requiring a thorough working knowledge of both the woods (cabinet) and the instrument within. In fact if you have ever visited a Piano showroom in the north there is a strong likely hood you have already seen our work as we turned over in excess of 300 Pianos a year for the Piano Trade.
When it comes to Restoration or Reconditioning, all work is carried out in-situ on our own premises. This makes it possible for ourselves and the customer to monitor the progress of all work undertaken, this also helps keeps all costs to a minimum. A Full Recondition means the only things that are NOT replaced is the Body of the Piano, Soundboard and the Key bed components.
Rent a Piano on a 12 month Piano Rental contract or Buy a Piano and spread the cost over 12 to 36 months with No Interest. Some of the pianos shown below are awaiting Restoration & Re-polishing, this gives the customer the choice of colour and finish they would like. Examples of our restoration & polishing work is available on our Piano Restoration & Polishing Portfolio page.

I’m currently renting a “baby” grand piano from Paul at Paregal Pianos. From the moment I first made contact the service has been superb. Paul is very friendly and knowledgeable. The piano was even re-polished prior to delivery! The piano arrived on time and the lads that delivered it took great care with it (and my house!). Plus all for a mere £50 a month. What more can I say? I have no hesitation in recommending Paregal to anyone looking to learn to play, or as in my case, re-learning after a 30 year break!

We were very pleased with the service we received from Paul at Paregal Pianos. He was very responsive to my initial email enquiries and replied promptly and helpfully to my numerous questions. He was then helpful when we visited the shop to choose our piano and the process to purchase it went very smoothly. We were then offered a delivery date just a few days later, and we were extremely impressed with the delivery itself, which involved getting the piano around what appeared to be an impossibly tight corner! Thank you very much, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Paregal Pianos.

I have recently had a positive experience with Paregal Pianos. From arranging an appointment for a viewing to delivery, Paul has been very helpful and provided excellent customer service throughout. We are extremely pleased with the end result of our newly restored 1920s piano and would highly recommend Paregal Pianos to anyone.

After a technical mishap with my own piano, I called Tuesday just as he was closing, and he managed to squeeze me in first thing Wednesday. Solved the problem immediately!
Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable with a vast array of instruments from beginner instruments to something for the pros.
Fabulous first impression, and will most certainly be paying Paregal Pianos a visit when we require an upgrade!
