Legacy Wills & Estate Planning
Planning for a time when you are not around might be the last thing on your mind, but it could save your loved ones from financial and emotional difficulty. Having a professionally drafted Will is the only way to ensure your family is adequately provided for, and that your estate is distributed in the way you would like.

Legacy Wills & Estate Planning makes writing a Will a simple process which is easy to understand, and with our basic Will writing service starting from only 19.99, there's no reason you can't take the steps to protect your loved ones from the inevitable.
Services
Legacy Wills & Estate Planning are dedicated to providing our clients with a straightforward, friendly and no-fuss Wills and estate planning service. We want our customers to be assured that their affairs are being handled with care, and our priority is to ensure you have the peace of mind that your loved ones are provided for.
We're here to help you leave a legacy, that can be enjoyed for generations to come. Your life's hard work should be protected, and we'll give you the guidance and advice to ensure that happens. Our team is spread across England & Wales, with our head office in the heart of England, Leicestershire. We've proudly been helping people to write their Will and protect their assets for a number of years, serving over 200 customers per week.
The law surrounding Wills and inheritance in England and Wales is highly complex, and the amount of paperwork involved can be daunting. At Legacy Wills & Estate Planning, we believe that writing something as important as a Will should be a straightforward and rewarding experience.

Our professional Will & Estate Planning Consultants can take care of all the legal documents and paperwork required and also provide guidance on careful estate planning, as well as the best options available to your individual needs.Legacy Wills & Estate Planning make the process simple, giving you the peace of mind in knowing that your affairs are taken care of.
Your say in what happens to your estate is important, and dying without a Will means your estate will be divided according to intestacy law, instead of as you would wish. Often this can mean a distant relative can inherit where someone you are closer to will lose out. It can also leave partners homeless and struggling to raise funds to pay inheritance tax and probate fees.
A Mirror Will (also known as a Couples Will) is one of two Wills, created for someone who is married, in a civil partnership or cohabiting and want both Wills to be similarly drawn up, protecting each other if one or both should die, and also protecting any children.

Although partners living together can just as easily have two separate Wills, making a Mirror Will can give reassurance to partners, especially in today's more complex modern family setups, where the absence of a Will could mean your children or partner will not benefit from your estate.

Zak took the time to explain all the options available. He was very professional courteous and friendly. The whole process was excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending Legacy Wills.

We had several emails during the will construction phases but after we had signed and witnessed our wills, we had an email telling us that it could take up to 9 weeks to make our wills legitimate. In all the previous emails, 9 weeks was not mentioned.
We started off with a basic will and they convinced us to put it into trust to stop any unwanted claims. That cost us £700:00. They then said that we needed to set up a lasting power of attorney. They wanted a further £900:00 for that. We said we wouldn't bother with the LPOA. We have since learned that a LPOA costs about £35:00 per notification

Critical: Professionalism
I had over 100 calls from this firm from various parts of the country . You cannot call them back and on some occasions when I answered the phone went dead. I blocked 16 different numbers and the call kept coming in from other offices. I have now finally spoken to someone and asked them to stop calling as I have my will sorted.

Literally just taken a call from a representative from Legacy Wills - must be at least the 20th (plus) call from the same number until I eventually picked up to be literally cut off during an explanation that I had set up a Will with another company. Extremely rude and unprofessional - thank goodness I chose to use a more professional business!

I have had a wonderful experience with this company. The lady who called me to arrange my will was very professional but also friendly. She was also very patient and did not mind how long the call took so long as she had the details correct and as I required. The advice I was given during the call was invaluable and covered things which I really hadn’t considered. The rest of their staff have been very helpful and I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Unfortunately I have to award them a single star which does not reflect the value of their business but never mind, one star it is.
I made the misfortunate decision to go for a £49 will with Legacy Wills and Planning and found myself taking out a £700 trust - which I was happy to do. The problems have started since then - beware of Legacy as this is what happened to me.
Once you've devolved to these snake oil salesmen the extent of your estate they then phone up unsolicited on a Friday night with the 'hard sell' expert; some guy phoned up doing all the usual sales techniques; trying to show

I received a phone call, I was persuaded to make a joint will even though I didn't want one. I paid. However cancelled the next day. Received a refund email 7th October 2021. I then received a refund transaction from the 21st October at 13.23pm. Not happy with their service, so glad I cancelled and had a will drawn up with another professional company.
I have been reading reviews, it's funny that comment on positive reviews but totally ignore all the negative reviews. What dies that tell you.

I would not recommend this company in relation to wills or power of attorney. They did not provide my husband and I with full information and their communication with us was poor. The solicitor we dealt with was unprofessional in his attitude when we changed our mind on what we wanted. He was clearly annoyed and made us feel uncomfortable.
They have never followed up the fact that we haven’t returned the documents or if we were satisfied with their service.
