Steven has been auctioneering for over 30 years. Starting his career with Curr & Dewar he gained a professional qualification with The Institute of Auctioneers and Appraisers. He then widened his knowledge working in East Anglia and County Durham. Auctioneering is in Steven's blood being the fourth generation to run Curr & Dewar.
Clare joined the family business in 2004. She manages the office and accounts as well as organising press, advertising and marketing. She particularly enjoys dealing with customers whether on the phone or face to face. David has been with Curr & Dewar since 2005. Previously he worked with a local removal firm travelling all over the UK.

Bid online - leave your auto bids and the computer will bid for you or leave a commission bids and we will bid on your behalf. Bid in person on sale day - register your name and address at our office where you will receive a buyers number. Live bidding - We partner with easyliveauction, who charge an extra 3+VAT flat rate for the whole auction or 3%+VAT commission.

Very Rude and now above themselves I have been a customer for nearly twenty years & left bids in their latest auction on 11 Lots on the website admittedly below estimates on most by a few pounds however on checking my log in I had one two lots and arranged for my wife to collect them and after travelling 30 miles they were not available to me as Steven thought it was clever to state to my wife that as I had left bids below estimate it wasn't worth his time processing them andtherefore I did not win them even though it says in black and white or should that be green that I was successful, I
