No-one who works at Dorothy is called Dorothy. We are called Ali and Jim, Oli and Rach. And sometimes when we are really busy Sonny, Chaz and Maeve. We also work with other creatives like Malik, Tracy, Tom, Pete and Ian. And our four-legged friends Molly, Joni, Homer, River and Blue make the occasional Instagram appearance.
But no Dorothy (yet). Prior to setting up Dorothy we worked in an ad agency together before taking a leap of faith to see if we could make money out of our own ideas. We started selling our own designs in 2010 and quickly realised that this crazy notion might not be so crazy after all. Our UK based studio now produces prints, products and artworks that are sold and exhibited internationally.

The design team at wearedorothy.com is doing great work in my book. It's right up there with the likes of Peter Saville and Herman Miller which is saying a lot. I love both of my blueprints (Alternnative Love & History of Rock n' Roll) and I get many compliments on both. The artist/band recommendations on the Alternative Love spawned the creation of a Plex Music playlist I created and it's been my favorite playlist to date. Kudos also to the Customer Service team who promptly sent out a new Alphabet of Rock when the first shipment tube arrived empty.

I bought both the "Rock and Roll Love Blueprint " and "Horror Star Chart" prints. I lived in England for a year and always wanted to stop by Dorothy when I was in Liverpool, but then COVID hit. Once I came back to the States, I knew that I wanted to grab some prints. The Free International shipping sale was exactly the thing that gave me the opportunity to purchase (took a bit to get here b/c customs, but worth the wait)! The variety that Dorothy creates made it tough to decide on just 2 prints... And if they do more with Football Clubs of England or aesthetic English city prints, there is a good

My husband and I absolutely love the blueprint pictures. We are having them framed this weekend which reminded me to leave a review about how happy we are. They are so unique And absolutely perfect. We can’t wait for Covid to be over so we can show them off. They are great conversation pieces and we will definitely be buying these for gifts in the… future. I definitely recommend Dorothy. I asked for 3 posters and unfortunately they arrived damaged, even that the container was really strong. I send them pics and they answered really fast and with a great attitude saying they didn't expect I do accept damaged prints. So they sent them again in a super fast delivery until Mexico.

Wow. Thank you Dorothy! Excellent service, excellent packaging, stunning unique product. I’m absolutely chuffed to bits with this amazing box of horror film character business cards. Each and every card is… entirely unique from the next; the level of detail and quality of print and materials is stunning. Even the presentation box and inlay card are a joy. My original plan was to display them all casually pinned up on a cork board in my office. However I can’t possibly bring myself to pierce a hole in any of these works of art.

I have a few pieces from the Dorothy collection at home. Their work is truly unique and very beautiful. They make the perfect gifts too. If you are a fan and get a chance to visit the studio you won’t be… disappointed. They are a friendly bunch and there is always something interesting going on.
