Operating since 2006 and with a wealth of experience to call upon, Partnerships for Renewables (PfR) started life as a renewable energy developer and built up a significant portfolio; the majority of which was developed in partnership with Forestry Commission Scotland. To date, over 200MW of on shore wind farms have been awarded planning permission, and in 2017 PfR's 600MW development portfolio was purchased by EDF Energy Renewables.
PfR has over 12 years' experience developing, building and operating large scale renewable energy projects throughout the UK for both its own and client portfolios. Our team has a wealth of technical and commercial expertise and, through working with long-standing partners, delivers an array of services ranging from the bespoke and individual, to complete asset management packages.
The 37.4MW Crook Hill and 10.2MW Reaps Moss wind farms were both constructed and commissioned in in late 2015 on upper sites in Rossendale, Lancashire. PfR managed the financial close and planning condition discharge phases, and the construction of both projects. Furthermore, since commissioning PfR has been managing the operational phases of Crook Hill and Reaps Moss on behalf of specialist fund managers, Vantage Infrastructure.
