Services
There is a little wear and staining to the bright paper covers and the contents are all fine. Text is in the German language only. Sent from our bookshop in the UK.; Waffen-Arsenal Waffen und Fahrzeuge de Heere und Luftstreitkrfafte; Vol. The covers are bright with modest soiling but are largely split, and also are detached from the contents.

I adore this bookshop. The staff are so friendly and the prices are beyond belief - bestselling collections that are never usually even on sale are priced regularly at £3.99!! Penguin Vintage Classics, SF Masterworks...and I love the way they stock the collections together. Just an amazing shop - can't recommend it enough.

A good range of local/ historical and general interest books. Pre covid (non essential shops still to reopen at time of writing) there was always a sale rail outside too for those with limited funds too

Maybe my favourite shop in the country. It's not large, but somehow still manages to have a better selection than the giant Waterstones around the corner. It has staff who genuinely know what they're talking about and can make recommendations you can trust if you tell them what you're looking for. It has books so obscure you never knew they existed, but there's usually something interesting among them. There's absolutely nothing bad i can say about it.

Went in 10 days ago was given email address for me to send pictures of set of books which i did and no reply. So i sent again 3 days ago and no reply.
So went in today and the bloke who served me was confused. Didn't listen. So ithen was told this morning the 4th july 2017 they had emailed me i checked and there was nothing.
Overall experience a waste of time 2×26 mile round trip for nothing.
City books as useful as a chocolate teapot.

Great shop to do business with. Saw book advertised, and phoned to comfirm what condition it was in, and then bought it. The books condition was as discribed, and the book arrived two days later securely padded and wrapped.
Thanks City Bookshop hope to do business with you again in the future.
