A lot has changed since Corstorphine Bowling Club was formed in 1891 and moved to its present location in 1898. We now have an excellent 6 rink green adjoining Corstorphine Public Hall and Library. Our excellent clubhouse and bar offer newly extended facilities for our members and guests, and new members are always welcome.
Ladies have been an integral part of Corstorphine Bowling Club and players since 1905. We have a very active mens section participating in social games and the Edinburgh Bowling Leagues. Boys and Girls under 18 are welcome to join our Juniors section. Corstorphine Bowling Club established a Senior section for its "over 60's" in 1978.

Two books have been published covering The Fist Fifty Years and The Second Fifty Years of Corstorphine Bowling Club. Further below is the Preface to the Centenary Book (its cover is on the left) that brought the two fifty's together. This updated history of Corstorphine Bowling Club brings to a conclusion the work of the Centenary Committee.
After enjoying our slide-show below of some very old photographs, read from our first published history. Corstorphine Bowling Club was formed in 1891 and consequently in 1941 was due to celebrate its fiftieth anniversary. Owing to the war it was not possible to arrange any of the functions usual to such an important occasion, but it was felt that the date should not be allowed to pass un-noticed.
After enjoying our slide-show below of some old photographs, read from our second published history. This history of Corstorphine Bowling Club covers the second fifty years from 1941 to1991 and is a followup to the "First Fifty Years" history compiled by Alex Ferguson, who in 1941 was VicePresident of the Club, and President the following year.
