We are a civil engineering contractor based in Dundee. We employ over 100 people in our business carrying out construction projects predominantly in East and Central Scotland. Both Richard and Athole are accountable to their clients for company performance and are very much actively involved in the day to day running of the business and maintaining working relationships with their clients.
Health and safety is at the heart of all Kilmac operations. We demand the highest safety and environmental standards from our employees, sub-contractors and our supply chain. This is achieved through our comprehensive HSE Management Systems and the continual improvement of our working practices. Our management systems are externally accredited by the UKAS accredited certification body NQA.
Kilmac have been a proud and active CECA member for years. Being a CECA member helps Kilmac to be in the forefront of all developments in the Scottish Civil engineering industry. Jimmy was Kilmacs first employee, joining then as a foreman, he now commands position of Production Manager. First year of trading saw Kilmac turnover 1 million. Kilmacs first project saw them construct social housing in Hilltown, Dundee for George Martin Builders. 2006 saw Kilmac become the Dundee schools East of Scotland preferred groundworks contractor for social infrastructure projects.
