Back then Alan and Irene Fleetham were a young hard working couple with 3 children between them, a mortgage and no money for any luxuries in life. More week than wage was the norm, you know the score. Alan was an experienced but unappreciated bedroom fitter working in Hull and Irene worked in an accountant's office in York.

It was a very terrifying and big decision to step into the world of self employment, but needs must. Whilst still working Alan traded in his car for a van and they placed an advertisement in the Pocklington Post and York Evening Press for six weeks just to see what happened. Irene carried on working.

We are a small family run business established in 1987. Every piece of furniture is handmade and custom built to YOUR individual requirements.

We are still very pleased with the finished external look and the space gained has more than met our needs. All the Rooms we fit are all designed by ourselves and manufactured in our factory They are then installed by our own fitters. If we are provided with a floor plan with dimensions and a rough sketch / idea of what you require then yes we are able to provide a rough quotation. Which then could then be followed up with a free home survey for a more accurate design and quotation.

Moonlight transformed our original wardrobes (fitted by someone else) into a high-quality bespoke fitted unit which looks wonderful! Everyone involved, from the person who first came to assess the task and design the answer, to Mick who fitted everything did a wonderful, highly professional job. The design itself was the perfect response to what we asked for and the final work was of the highest quality, and expertly fitted with no resulting mess or damage. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Lovely family business in Pocklington, wardrobes of very good quality and not breaking the bank. Before finding moonlight we had used another company which were so expensive, from now on we will only use moonlight.

We found Moonlight Bedrooms completely satisfactory in every way. From first contacting them we had friendly efficient and punctual service. The finished installed units were totally what we asked for and superb quality and fitting. This was all arranged and completed during difficult times in and out of lockdown. Moonlight came to view, listened, made one or two suggestions, showed me samples , and plans and quote arrived next day. On fitting day they covered carpets and left the room immaculate. The wardrobes and drawers look fabulous and I can't recommend Moonlight Bedrooms highly enough

We recently had a second bedroom done by moonlight to replace a sharps bedroom that was put in 10 years ago. The quality is superb and we wish we’d done it a long time ago. Far better than sharps with regard to how it is laid out inside which has given us more room for storage. We also had the master bedroom done last year which is equally as good. The finish of the final product is A1. I recently called them to order a few extra shelves and all this was done without hesitation and is pending delivery. We are delighted with our fitted wardrobes and bedside drawers. The customer service is excellent and the quality is up there with all the well known fitted wardrobe brands (but at a fraction of the price). Cannot fault anything from the first measure up to the completed room. We will be putting another order in soon!
