Cordell Wilson offers Personal Training sessions, group sessions and online coaching. Cordell is passionate about health and fitness and enjoys working with people of all fitness levels and helping them lose fat, gain confidence and enjoy a happier life. It doesn't matter if you've never set foot in a gym before or if you're working towards a new challenge, Cordell can help you achieve things you thought you never could do.

My name is Cordell Wilson and I am a Personal trainer and Weight loss coach working with clients who struggle with their weight in Cardiff and Newport, South Wales. I help people lose weight, feel comfortable with their bodies and live a happy normal life with the body they've always dreamt of. Since starting with Cordell, we have become a lot more confident with the gym. The great thing about Cordell is he teaches you how to work out without necessarily needing a PT all the time. However, the regular accountability and tips is great. His diet advice has been great and I've continued to lose weight, even when I got lazy with gym work after having COVID and over Xmas. I've always been into cardio and sporty and got very unfit through lockdowns. Learning about Weight training and diet has had massive gains, not just for looks but my flexibility, less injuries, feel stronger and perform

I started training with Cordell several months ago in order to tone up and improve overall fitness levels in order to ‘get fit’. Cordell has been very good at helping motivate and push me in the right direction.

I started training with Cordell to get in better shape for a half Marathon, which we accomplished in September!
Now we are training so I can look my best for my wedding day. Cordell definitely knows what he's doing when it comes to training brides, he asked me all about my dress to make sure we were targeting the areas I wanted, so I can look my best. He pushes me during our workouts but he's not a drill sergeant and is very approachable. He has also been really flexible with the days and times we train which is great for me!

My journey with Cordell started via a random Google search after I drew a line and decided to do something about my weight gain. He was prompt in his response and I am so thankful he was because I am certain I would not be where I am physically today without him! After starting my sessions in August 2020, to date I have lost just under 6kg.
It didn't involve crazy dieting or 5 days a week at the gym; but did involve hard work, accountability and consistency which Cordell instilled in me from day one.
The workouts are not easy but neither are they out of reach and I am still surprised at how much

Highly recommend Cordell. I’ve always struggled with knowing how to go about losing weight and once the pandemic hit the stress eating got a bit out of control and it was either time to sort myself out or buy bigger jeans. Cordell was able to educate me on nutrition and create a workout routine for me that I was able to do at home without any equipment. I lost the weight I needed and was still able to eat chocolate every week! 😃Very happy, would definitely recommend and now Januarys won't be a problem if I over eat over Christmas anymore!

Cordell's been amazing! Set me some very achievable short and long term goals. I started in January, the typical New Years Resolution but working out is now part of my everyday and I look forward to pushing myself. He's given me so much useful information on Nutrition and fuelling my body to do what it needs. Got so much more energy now but the workouts are NEVER allowed to become easy! He's always looking for ways to make it more challenging and constantly looking for progressions to what we've covered so far. Highly recommend! Cannot wait for the gyms to re-open, I'll be signing up to Riverside

I started with Cordell because I’d completely lost my balance between work, studying and fitness and really struggled to get myself back on track and keep motivated. Cordell helped me get that balance back and was especially encouraging in weeks where I was really stressed with exams and would usually give up.
We talked about the best way to organise my week so I could still go out for a meal or a night out without feeling guilty which is how I would usually feel!
He gave me varied workouts both when I was able to go to the gym and at home during lockdown, 1&1/2 stone down and I feel much better

Cordell is the best PT! I signed up in September to get in shape for my cousins wedding in December. With Cordell’s training I lost all the inches and weight I set out to and have maintained it. Cordell’s approach is very detailed and tailored to your unique needs. He is constantly motivating and inspiring you to be the best version of yourself because he knows with the right work you can achieve it. I originally used apps, yo-yo dieting, etc. to try and lose weight but nothing worked and I wasn’t motivated to stick to it. I used to get really intimidated at the gym and would often give up

I wasn’t someone who liked going to the gym but with Cordell I look forward to my sessions and have become someone who really enjoys it and he is very easy to get along with. Sessions are always fun and he checks in with you regularly and really helps with changing eating habits. He has been my PT for early 2 years, when I first started I saw results within the first one month and haven’t looked back since. Would really recommend him as a PT.
