We are ideally situated as a "jumping off" point for your VW campervan rental, with easy access to Scotland and England. We are located in Hawick in the Scottish Borders. From the south we are easily accessed from the A1 via the A698 on the east coast, and the M6 via the A7 in the west. Driving: 1hr 30mins from Edinburgh via A7 or A68, 2hrs from Glasgow via M8, 1hr 15mins from Carlisle via A7, 1hr 20mins from Berwick via A698.
Meet our VW T6 Campervan Heather! Kitted out with an eye catching orange pop-top roof, she also has a fully fitted interior with orange trim to match her roof! Available to book online: March to November - Contact Us to enquire about booking off season. Thankfully, safety standards have moved on enormously since vehicles were designed in the 1970's!

We took Heather on a road trip to Skye for 5 days! The van is well equipped and simple to use and my husband said she was a dream to drive! After having to rearrange our trip twice due to work issues, Ian and Becca went out of their way to allow us to rebook even though we ended up taking the trip almost 2 years after we had initially booked. I don’t feel many companies would be so flexible!! We felt at ease with them from the moment we first made contact to dropping Heather off. I have already been telling friends and customers of our own about Classic Camper Holidays and would happily reccomend

I want travelers to beware. I rented a van from this company and it broke down on the second day. It is still unclear if it was a clutch cable or the clutch. The tow truck driver said it was the clutch cable. The owners of Classic Camper Holidays say it was the clutch.
Their contract favors them and travelers are supposed to plan their trip around breakdowns.
The information the owners provided to me regarding the vehicle is vague. I was told that the people who rented the van before me had problems with the clutch. It was also said that the clutch was replaced after they returned it and then
