They invested everything they had to start up their own business and provide a better life for themselves and family. More than fifty years later, Bullen Plant Hire still remains to be a family run business which is proudly headed up by Frank and Helens sons Graham and John.
They have been providing professional and cost-effective solutions for their clients in the Construction, Civil Engineering, Utilities, Groundwork and Landscaping industries for many years and continue to grow the business their mother and father worked so hard to create.

Both Frank and Helen were very determined to ensure the business was a success. I worked for them driving machines in the 70s, only a small firm then. By the mid 70s they bought their 1st low loader an AEC, I drove it at 21 then Scammel Crusader, Volvo, then new MAN, then Volvo F12. Graham came out in the truck as second man on many occasions. I must say I gained lots of experience with them and it gave me the foundation to move into Transport Management roles. Thanks
