Services
Established in 1997, Intermach is a privately owned business that has seen continued steady growth and now operates from a modern freehold manufacturing site in Swindon utilising cutting edge technology to produce cost effective high quality precision components. The company is committed to in-house training and have been running engineering apprenticeships since 1998.
Finishing processes are available for most machined parts including chrome plating, anodising, polishing, plating and heat treatment. We work with a diverse range of materials, often exotic materials, from alloys, steel, stainless steel, inconel, duplex and titanium to name but a few. We work to a variety of tolerances, machining to single figure micron tolerances and fine surface finish parameters.
Intermach offer a broad range of CNC turning capabilities including "one operation turning" using multi spindle, multi axis barfed equipment and complex high value billet work. We also have larger machines up to 600mm diameter turning capability and "through the spindle" capacity of 165mm. So, whether its complex parts manufacture, volume production or physically large components, we have the machinery.
Intermach Engineering has a modern and well equipped inspection department, utilising a mixture of Mitutoyo and Renishaw CMM equipment alongside traditional methods and equipment. We have a flexible approach and are able to facilitate any parameters specified by our customer into our quality planning and procedures.
We believe that people and skills are one of our greatest assets. Intermach have been running Engineering Apprenticeships since 1998. We are always considering recruiting new apprentices.
