We look after all sorts of small animals - including hamsters, rabbits and chickens. During these visits we will feed, care, stroke, brush, clean out as required whilst you are away. At Exeter Pet Sitters we have cared for all sorts of reptiles - from snakes, to bearded dragons to a tortoise. We are able to feed, change water, wash and clean their living environments during the visits.
Our cat visits are a 30 minute drop in where we feed, play with, clean out litter trays and just generally keep your fluffy friend company. We are happy to administer medication - from tablets to injections - whilst you are away. We also offer a short medication drop in to help you out if you're nervous or unsure of administering any yourself.

Services
Exeter Pet Sitters is a family run professional and friendly pet sitting service for Exeter and the surrounding area with a team of first class pet sitters who are passionate about caring for your pets. We are all pet lovers ourselves, and understand the worry when you need to go away, whether it be for work reasons or on holiday.
Jo has always enjoyed caring for family pets from a young age. These have ranged from cats and dogs to ducks, chickens and other animals! She currently enjoys the company of Bennie, a boxer who she adopted through the Cornwall and South Devon boxer rescue, and Desmond, her Chocolate Labrador. Jo is fully CRB checked and has excellent references.
Cats are territorial animals, and love staying in their own homes. With the Exeter Cat Sitting service one of our police checked, referenced, qualified cat sitters will visit your cat once or twice per day according to your preference, and update you with a text as to how your cat is. We are able to feed, change water, groom, clean litter trays, and most importantly provide some affection and company.
At Exeter Pet Sitters we ensure that all of your pets are cared for. We have cared for snakes, lizards, a tortoise and all sorts. We will care for them as you do - clearing the enclosures as you would, changing water regularly and feeding them to your schedule. We will check tank temperatures etc. to ensure that your pets are happy and comfortable whilst you're away.
At Exeter Pet Sitters we care for a wide variety of small animals. For rabbit sitting, guinea pig care, mice care, ferret care, rodent care, reptile visiting, fish maintenance and bird care we are able to feed, change water, groom and clean their living environments, during a scheduled visit of up to 30 minutes.

I have to say - the first time we used Exeter Pet Sitters was amazing, couldn't have been happier. Unfortunately on coming to use them a second time we had the opposite experience.
I called and left messages multiple times on both numbers, none were ever returned. Email communication was better but still not reliable. Each time I was told something would happen it didn't, asking how to flag the medical needs of my cat was met with no response, looking for reassurance that those needs would be met also got no response.
The whole experience was needlessly stressful - had anyone said it wouldn't

I've been using Exeter Pet Sitters for 3 years and they are fantastic. I get texts everytime they go in to see my cat with an update of how she is. She had medical needs when I first started using them and they had no problem giving her twice daily medication. If I could take Jo & her team with me when I move, I'd never stop using their service.

Overall a fantastic experience so far! We had a tricky situation arrise with our puppy needing to receive puppy visits throughout the day at short notice due to my partner and I needing to be back to work sooner than we had thought. Jo was quick to solve the problem and gave us a solution that fitted perfectly with our schedule. Highly recommended *****

My 3 year old jack Russell, Wally has been looked after with 5 star treatment by Jo and the team since he was 9… months old. Wally is my absolute world and I am very particular with who I would trust with his welfare. I recommend Exeter pet sitters/dog walkers very highly and thank all of the team for their continued support and flexibility when it comes to my ever changing work programme. The love and devotion they show to my little Wally is second to none and I go to work everyday with the confidence that he is being cared for in the best way. Thank you.

My three cats (one of whom is on a special diet) were “looked after” by Penny. I shall never use this service again. The worst I’ve had in my life – I’ve always had very reliable friends looking after my cats’ needs in the past. Penny threw away at least 3kgs worth of very expensive dry cat food (5 kg costs £35) – despite my discussing what was to… be done in detail with Jo Crocker prior to my going away. She obviously didn’t pass these instructions on to Penny. Penny ran out of dry food, not surprisingly, after throwing perfectly good
