Our luggage handling service means that you won't have to lift a finger - you will be collected from home, the luggage loaded, and unloaded onto a trolley at the airport by our driver - all you have to do yourself is to book-in!

Waited 45 minutes for a premium pre paid service in the cold high street in Newmarket (I know, bit like any service pre paid, get rubbish service) from 11.45 to 12.30, had to give directions to the driver going home, as didn't have a clue and doesn't use live Google maps, so journey home twice as long......

Biggest mistake to become a loyal customer..
I frequently use the service and have spent a lot of money lately the taxis has been arriving late.
I can accept taxis being late due to extreme drivers storages as they are put under pressure to reach customers in time but I was unhappy for the fact they can’t absolutely do anything at all to let me know if the taxi will be late before hand.
Speaking the manager Dean i got nothing resolved. So anyone trying to be reasonable please don’t waste your time, you’ll be told you’re wrong and told not to use their service anymore.

I’ve always had fantastic service from A1, hence why I chose them to use today. This review is just about the online booking system.
Allowing me to book (AND PAY FOR) a taxi online, only to receive a phone call as soon as the transaction goes through; telling me no taxis available at that time… is NOT acceptable. To top it off, I’m told that my money (£50+) can’t be refunded until Monday because there aren’t any managers in the office until then…? Maybe having taxi availability added to the online booking system is the way forward?? If not, take the booking system down and just run

Booked and paid £113 for a minibus 3 weeks ago for our son's wedding. Received an email 3 days before the wedding to say it was cancelled. They offered no alternative and I have to wait 5 days for a refund. Couldn't even be bothered to call me. Just organised another with a firm and it cost £60, lucky I could get one. Just shows you what a rip off taxicode is, and they apparently organised it with A1 taxis of Bury St Edmunds. I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

I have A1 taxis at least 3 times a week. Very professional and reliable ( no thanks to ezec when booking!) Always friendly and helpful.
