Retro Bazaar was born 10 years ago out of two people's passion for all things retro, vintage, midcentury and cool. Over the years the demands of the market have changed and we have learned to adapt; so what we sell now is significantly different from when we first started. We are specialists in vintage technology converting vintage radios and speakers to Bluetooth.
We also undertake customer conversions. This 'technology' umbrella covers other items we fix and convert to modern day use, including anything from telephones to typewriters, lighting to clocks, radiograms & record players. We also stock midcentury art, ceramics & furniture when we find beautiful pieces needing a new home.

Sorry, we don't have a shop, just a small workshop only suitable for collecting or dropping off orders. Postage is calculated by destination and weight, so varies according to the item. This gives you the most accurate postage cost for the item. If you wish to have an estimate of postage costs prior to ordering please drop us a message via Contact Us page.
PayPal - If you have a PayPal account then we are able to accept payments via this method. Please note, if you pay via a PayPal eCheque then we must wait until the eCheque has cleared before we dispatch your goods, this usually takes around 10 working days. BACS payments - If you would like to pay via BACS please contact us for our bank account details and you can make a direct transfer, his usually takes around 1 working day.
We supply the TV industry, Theatres, drama societies and the magazine industry with Retro & Vintage pieces for photo shoots, events & shows. We rent period pieces, from 1950s to 1990s, which are in working order or are for display only.
Our props can be renovated working pieces from our primary stock or items which haven't passed our strict quality control checks - they may have a flaw, fault, chip or crack but they will be perfect for set dressing.All items we carry are genuine vintage or retro - we do not carry any reproductions.

Whatever your preference, all our phones are treated the same, we convert and restore all our phones to full working condition (except where specified). For most phones, we strip them and clean all the mechanical and case parts, using special cleaners to restore the shine of the case to as close to new as we can.
Here at Retro Bazaar we specialise in the restoration and refurbishment of vintage technology, including record players, radios, radiograms, typewriters, calculators and telephones. Currently we are adding Bluetooth to our range of radios and speakers - floor standing and table top. We have an alternative solution for radiograms and music centres where these are converted to MP3.
