Highcliffe Engineering Ltd are a well-established family run company based in Mexborough, South Yorkshire. We were founded in 1983 by Ian Wolstenholme and were initially solely a steel fabrication company which has evolved under progression into a mobile crane hire company as well. As a company we have been operating mobile cranes since 2000.
We have the following cranes for hire as part of our current fleet. If you cannot see a crane type which meets your requirements please do not hesitate to contact us. This crane is the same in every way as the PPM ATT 350-2. The only difference is that this has extra counter weight with it which makes the crane a 35t capacity opposed to the 30t.
When hiring mobile cranes there are a number of options towards the choice of hire which we can offer, Contract Lift or CPA Crane Hire. This is the prefered choice for the customer when they do not have an appointed person to plan the lifting operations which are to be undertaken. Highcliffe Engineering will provide an appointed person who is CPCS trained to plan the lifting operations.
There are a number of factors now in influencing the maximum ground loading's which can be imposed when using cranes. We are now offering Unimat for hire. This is the strongest sectional Aluminium outrigger mat which is currently on the market. The mats have been tested in a Laboratory to over 2500 tonnes per meter squared.
