Tarmac is generally considered to be the cheapest method of laying a hard surface. But it's a time-consuming job which requires specialist tools, machinery and, not least, knowledge. This means that it only becomes the cheapest method once the driveway is up to a suitable size, where the economies of scale kick in.
CC Drives & Patios recently installed a new driveway for us and we would like to thank them for their first class service and for completing the job on time and within our budget. Chris and his team did my new block paving driveway and put up fences on either side of drive. Chris suggested the block paving colour and design which we went for and never regretted since.

Chris and the team were amazing from start to finish. Managed to squeeze our job into their busy schedule and got the job done in a day and a half. Chris listened to us and also offered advice on the areas of the garden that we were wanting to do ourselves. The boys worked so hard without complaints and have done an amazing job with our patio. Chris and his team has just completed the conversation of some wasteland behind our garage into a fantastic patio and also built a hard standing for a green house and shed. The job was quoted at a really good rate, a schedule given and stuck too. The work rate by the team was high and the standard of work exceptional. Chris kept us informed along the way and provided guidance when needed. I like working with people I like and Chris falls well into that category. Chris and his team did a fantastic job renovating our old cracked tarmac driveway. They were very professional, polite and efficient. The job was done in 4 days as promised and we were kept informed all the way through. Chris has transformed the driveway giving us a beautiful Indian sandstone one.

A brilliant hardworking team - From the outset Chris was bang on time, and this attention to detail continued throughout. We are really pleased with how the job went. It was more complicated than your average as all dirt excavated and new materials had to be brought through the house, via a shared drive to access the rear patio. Chris knew exactly how to overcome the concerns we had, and care was taken by his team throughout. Drainage was considered, levels for run off, and throughout the job Chris involved us on the finishing touches and preferences so we are really pleased with the result. I
