The primary function of a bed frame is simply to provide your mattress with a platform to rest upon, but choosing the right one can add style, elegance and character to your bedroom. So to cater for a variety of tastes, decors and budgets we offer a wide selection of wooden, metal, leather and fabric bedsteads from budget beds to TV beds and designer bed frames.
Our extensive range of ottoman bed frames have been carefully selected to offer you the perfect combination of practicality, style, quality and value. An ottoman is a great way to maximise bedroom storage without taking up additional floor space. This makes it ideal for smaller bedrooms where space is at a premium.
Make bedtime the most enjoyable time of the day for your kid with one of our children's bed frames that are designed to appeal to families looking for quality, value for money and of course safety. With a wide choice of colours and styles, our fabulous collection has everything for children of all ages, from simple wooden or metal bed frames to space saving cabin beds and high sleepers.
Platform top bases are made up of a timber frame with a solid top that provides a firm foundation for your mattress. Cheaper to manufacture, they are the most commonly used divan base. Sprung bases are more expensive to produce and consist of a shallower frame with springs on top. These springs act as shock absorbers for the mattress, resulting in a more luxurious feel.
There are a number of reasons for using a divan base such as, it raises the mattress height, it makes it easier to get in and out of bed and provides a flat structure for your mattress to rest upon. At the end of the day, a divan base or box spring as they are more commonly known, are simply upholstered boxes to keep your mattress off the floor and they can be either firm top or sprung.

Archers Sleepcentre South -
Good experience shopping here. Spoke to Stevie over the phone and went in to pay for a sofa-bed.
Great staff friendly and helpful. What they say over the phone is what you get in-store.
I only spent £150 but still got great service from start to finish. The delivery guy was great too.
(Wouldn't go to the Glasgow North one again, though.)
I'll visit Archers South from now on, for future bed purchases.

A lesser known bed shop this is a rare wee, well big, find.
I stumbled across it a few years ago now, when my ex was moving out. In the split up politics I'd agreed to keep the hellish bed he'd MADE. Yes. And it gets worse. It was not a bed that sits on the ground. Oh no, this was a bed that was roughly seven feet high and sat a whole foot below the ceiling (I'm not going to answer your question). Kinda like a massive bunk bed but underneath it there was piles of his junk.
Anyway, enough about the tree house. It's now gone. Thank God. But, in the break up proceeding, I&apos

Archers Sleepcentre have some pretty comfy beds, single beds, doubles, bunks, Silent Nights, all sorts. So if you're looking for a bed then you'll be spoilt for choice in here.
I remember I used to work for a mystery shopper company and I once got asked to go here to do my nosey. When I first read the job description I thought that would be an awesome day out, lying on all the different beds to see what one was comfiest, then I read a bit further. My job was to go in, ask someone whether or not latex is a kind of memory foam. WHAT? Who asks that? I can just imagine some old married
