As a candidate of the ITSSAR and RTITB Instructor Training Course you will be required to undertake a forklift operator test to instructor standard.

The company is based in Peterborough but we are willing to work anywhere in the UK to meet our clients' needs. As we work in the logistics and transport sector we understand that not everybody works 9 till 5, Monday to Friday. Neither do we and we are prepared to work at the times that best suit you.

The instructor course is carried out at our academy in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire by Steve Lake or. An ITSSAR instructor course is carried out over 10 days if the course is initial training.
Anglia Logistics Transport Training Academy Ltd is accredited by the RTITB and ITSSAR to deliver forklift truck training for operators and instructors at our Academy in Peterborough, or for operator training on your own premises. Our instructors have all worked within the sector and have been training for many years on a wide range of forktrucks.
An ITSSAR instructor course is carried out over 10 days if the course is initial training. If the ITSSAR training course is for a reregistration or direct entry then a 5 day ITSSAR training course can be taken. The ITSSAR Instructor Training Course is a progressive training course; an ITSSAR Training Standards Adviser will visit our Peterborough academy to ensure that the course is being delivered correctly.
The instructor course is carried out at our academy in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire by Steve Lake or Colin Frost. Both Steve and Colin have delivered many instructor courses in the Cambridgeshire area over the last 9 to 12 year period. The initial course will require the candidates to be able to pass a forklift truck driving test, but to instructor standard.

I recently attended a forklift course and we had an instructor called Sean I’m afraid to say he was not very good the instructor was constantly talking about himself and spent more time on the forklift than myself as a trainee. His instructions where confusing and not clear we had a none speaking trainee and no allowances where given for that he was using phrases like leave your left foot at home tomorrow meaning brake and accelerate with the right foot the non English speaker had no clue. However day four and five we had a different instructor Richie and he saved your company reputation he gave

I attended a 3 day ISOH Health & Safety course at Altta Group in December. This was the first time I had used them for training, but it certainly will not be the last. Booking the course was straightforward, I was supplied with the information and dates I needed very quickly. The facility was located well for me, being close to the A1, and was easy to find. Once there, staff were professional, friendly and polite, and the kitchen and canteen available was most welcome. The course itself was handled very well by Steve, it was informative and well presented, and thankfully I passed the exam and assessment

Thank you Kurt & Steve for the novice reach truck training. A very comprehensive week with good time taken to focus on any trouble spots during the course. Very happy with the results.

Well you know when you get a course you need to go onto you think we'll another boring day ahead. This was far from it, now I would do the course again as the instructor Kevin was a good instructor and you learnt things that were very helpful. So my next Emergency First Aid course I will do here and every time many thanks peeps :)

I had my Reach Forklift Training last week and was very happy and satisfied. The place was clean, tidy and staff followed social distancing.
The instructor Kurt was a star who was patient, calm and dedicated with student. Considering that I've not used driven forklift for almost 15 years, Kurt's approach to training was super duper with emphasis on good communication.
I will definitely be doing my counter-balance refresher with Altta Group in future.

I attended ALTTA Peterborough for my counter balance FLT course, this was a pleasant experience thanks to many points. But my instructor who I would strongly suggest asking for made things, much more relaxing by being. Friendly straight forward and approachable. That trainers name was kurt many thanks mate keep up the good work, and I hope you reach your future goals, like you’ve made it possible for me to reach mine.

Was sent to complete my novice counter balance training by my employer here.
An ideal location with plenty of parking, good access to the bus route, also near by shops and burger vans if required.
Although there was no bike parking on the first day when I did bike they very kindly let me store it inside without me even needing to ask permission.
There is alot going on with people competing courses at different levels. It was great at your break being able to socialise and to get tips and tricks of the trade from experienced operators.
The covid policies in place were very well maintained considering
