At Wedgewood the highest quality oak timber is bought 'in the round' before being processed throughout our own, on-site sawmill. The frame is then pre-constructed in the workshop adjacent to the sawmill before being transported to site where it is erected. This allows you the unique opportunity to watch your building evolve from the timber in its most natural, form to the finished article all on one site.
It gives us the flexibility to fully control the design and quality of the build. It is therefore often possible for us to make minor stylistic changes to your building partway through the construction process. Our carefully selected oak makes strong, robust frames that are visually impressive that have the real 'wow factor'.

At Wedgewood Buildings we have been making timber frame houses, conservatories and outbuildings since 2006 from our timber yard based near East Anstey, Devon. Being a small team of skilled craftsmen, we are able to offer a flexible and personal service to our clients, which is as important to us as it is to you, no matter how small or large your project.

The oak is moved directly off the sawmill into our workshop where our skilled carpenters get to work in crafting the frame and accessories of the building.
