When our employer, The Arcon Group, went into receivership, we decided to set up our own business. As specialists in our trade, we aimed to supply door controls, security products and door furniture, along with the best possible service. Turentek was incorporated in 2000 by Neil Aspinshaw and Paul Henstock, who have a combined experience of 60 years of Architectual Ironmongery.
From the beginning our telephones started ringing, as customers placed their trust in us as credible people. Those who knew us began to send enquiries, orders, and specifications and within months we had secured large contracts with the ENT building at the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham and Thoresby Hall for Warner Hotels.

Very good showroom plenty of choice, don’t stock loads of handles but can order in what they don’t have. Staff seemed very helpful and knowledgeable, I was served by a woman who was very friendly, wasn’t pushy and even told us to sleep on our decision as we wasn’t quite sure! We did and needless to say we went back. Would recommend.

Tried to buy some handles, locks etc today it took an hour( I'm not joking or exaggerating) for the sales rep to then turn and say" it's late come back tomorrow"
It took him an hour to realise he didn't have a clue as to what I required even though it was printed on a a4 sheet.
I should have realised sooner as on his shoes he has an 'L' and an 'R' printed on them as a reminder
