Had an amazing function with my family, was just a get together for an early anniversary, we had a hot buffet which was amazing, staff were always checking on us had a wee conversation now and then and were always so polite and great with the children. Great day/night overall and we were surprised at the amount of buffet we had most was taken home and my mum couldn't believe what she got for her money. Would be happy to arrange any function within the steelworks as everything was perfect and a big thank you very much to all! ❤️❤️❤️

Not a great experience. Booked a table months ago and got sat on the most uncomfortable bench set in the garden whilst all the nice tables with comfy chairs were completely empty the whole time we were there. We asked to get moved but they wouldn’t move us. Food was not great. Macaroni cheese was full of cheese sauce and hardly any pasta. We would have stayed longer as we had planned a nice girly day out but we left after a few hours because we were so uncomfortable. I understand the nice tables might have been booked but we would have been gone by the time they arrived or would have moved when

Sent wrong starter. Sent wrong mains but when I complained I had to explain to manager about how bad it was she defended it.
No cutlery. No sauce. Begged for service.
Had salt and pepper wings which are just farms foods wings with sweet chilli sauce on it. Not like the menu
Bone dry chicken burger with farmfoods onion rings and chips. Honestly appalling. Staff were nice but not organised. Will never be back.

Place looked fantastic, as did the cocktails- unfortunately never got the chance to try these as we waited half an hour for our drinks order to be taken and a further 40 minutes before cancelling our order and leaving as there was no sign of drinks coming. It appeared to be woefully understaffed as the bar was a complete shambles piled high of dirty glasses. Staff were pleasant and friendly but unfortunately no organisation between them as all staff would be going to the same few tables and the rest appearing to be ignored. Would recommend as a place to rest your legs but not to quench your thirst
