A Notary Public can notarise documents for use all over the world. The documents must be signed in the presence of a Notary Public who is appointed by the Court or by Royal Authority. The Notary Public has to be satisfied that the person signing the document has been correctly identified and that he or she understands the nature of the document and the legal implications of it.

I notarized few documents around the world for sale of my properties. The fee was x amount which I was happy to pay and reasonable.
I went to the Southampton notary and did a year ago with Ian the same procedures( without asking for a quote) and he charges more or less the same amount. With good service, very helpful and polite.
A week ago, I went for the same place and did the same procedures with a lady that notarized my papers as Ian did, witnesses signature, same amount of papers and time.
In the end, she asked if I asked for a quote and I responded that I did not. She then said the price
