All patient treatment and care takes place in purpose built accommodation which has been designed to the highest standards and incorporates the latest medical technology, quality of care and safety.

Fairfield Independent Hospital is one of the very few remaining independent charitable hospitals in the country and our not-for-profit status is a guarantee that any surplus we generate is reinvested back into the hospital. We have ten outpatient consulting rooms where consultants can meet patients, discuss their symptoms and propose a course of treatment.
Fairfield Independent Hospital is one of the very few remaining charitable hospitals in the country. Previously known as 'Friends of Fairfield' we have been supporting the hospital for the last 40 years. In celebration of this 'epic' anniversary and reflecting our vision for a dynamic future in the years ahead, we have changed our name to Fairfield Future.
Our Charity trustees have ultimate responsibility for directing the affairs of the charity and ensuring that it is solvent, well-run and delivers the charitable outcomes for the benefit of the public for which it has been set up. Fairfield Independent Hospital is an established charity that aims to improve the health and quality of life by offering a high standard of affordable care to all those who use our services.

I was waiting for an NHS appointment for nearly 2 years then was told about fairfield hospital so got referred by my doctor and within 1 month i was seen and my treatment sorted. I felt like a priority patient from walking in to leaving. If your on the long NHS waiting list speak to your doctor to be sent to fairifield hospital they are amazing. thanks fairfield

Just had the worst experience of my life at this place. I was paying privately for a Ultra Sound Scan and was put in an area with all the NHS patients fair enough i’ve no problem with that.
I got called in early which was good but from then it was downhill. The radiologist came in didn’t introduce himself then started scanning the problem area of my knee. He wasn’t saying much just muttering to himself with a few loose questions in between. He then got up and walked out saying nothing. I had to ask the assistant if that was it or was he coming back to explain stuff. She said no he will write

Went in hospital under the NHS for a knee operation and was very nervous the staff was amazing. I felt like a footballer with all the staff looked after me and the operation was fast. the after care was second to none, the food great and the whole experience was made easier due to the care provided. i can't say enough about how great the hospital was.

Was recently in Fairfield for a knee replacement. The care given before, during and after the operation was exceptional. I felt confident at all times I was being looked after by professionals. I would like to thank the surgeons, anesthetist, physio and especially the day and night nurses who were brilliant. The food was pretty good too. Would highly recommend Fairfield. Can't thank them enough.

I was a patient at Fairfield hospital on Monday 2nd August 2021. I was having a colonoscopy and endoscopy under Mr Rajasundaram Rajaganeshan and his team. I can not thank enough all the staff from me checking in at the reception to leaving after my procedure. Everyone made me feel at ease and comfortable. Mr Rajasundaram Rajaganesham and his team and the other members of staff who looked after me are a credit to the hospital. Thank you very much Amanda.

I had an Operation on Friday 9th July 2021 for carpal tunnel release.Of course I was apprehensive especially as the Operation was being done using local anaesthetic.
Upon arrival I was treated by every single Nurse,reception,housing assistant,DrShah,and all Theatre staff with the utmost care,compassion and consideration.
I can not praise or thank each individual enough for there kindness and understanding.After being in pain for so long and I am now on the way to being pain free.
Thank you to each and everyone,you are all wonderful people

I have visited the Radiology department of Fairfield hospital on two separate occasions and my experience has been first class. My initial enquiry was handled by Julie Glynn, the Radiology Manager who was superb. She managed to secure an urgent appointment for me and totally put my mind at rest with her kind and supportive manner. Caitlin, one of the Radiology Healthcare Assistants was wonderful and held my hand throughout the ultrasound procedure and made me feel totally relaxed by talking to me and provided a much needed distraction. 4wks ago today I underwent knee replacement surgery at this amazing hospital. I cannot praise my consultant Mr Emms & his staff enough. Right from the get go, from the reception to actually being admitted my treatment & experience of Fairfield has been fantastic. Thank you all, amazing staff in a very caring hospital xx

My first experience of Fairfield was fantastic from start to finish, from my email enquiry, to speaking to reception and attending for my appointment with Mr Liew this week. I was pleased that he offered to remove my cyst at my initial appointment, so no return visit. All staff were friendly and helpful and I wouldn’t hestistate to use Fairfield again if I was able to. I had my gallbladder removed at Fairfield on Monday & came home today - I can’t thank the staff enough for looking after me. I was treated so well from the moment I arrived by every member of staff I came into contact With me. From the minute i walked into the hospital i was treated like royalty. Being scared of my operation i was due to have my mind was at ease straight away with the nurses! i couldnt fault anything. even the reception staff. outstanding!!! Even the appointments for pre op. The lady was past clocking off and she asked me in the middle od the… appointment that she would stay if i needed her. i thought that was fab aswell. i course told her no go home and stick the kettle on.
