TOWBARS: D&M Towing offer an affordable and adaptable Towbar & Electrics supply and fitting service covering the Sleaford and the Lincolnshire area. Whether it's a Witter, PCT, Brink Westfalia or another manufacturer's system you're after, we'll ensure you have the correct electrics package to suit your tow vehicle.
A modern car is fitted with a multitude of electrical systems: reversing sensors, anti-snaking sensors and hill-start assistance sensors to name but a few newer car improvements. Additionally, the old standard 7-pin plug has been replaced with a European standard 13 pin. LED lighting may also require a bespoke set-up.
Modern bicycle/cycle (bike) racks allow very efficient positioning of your bikes at the rear of your car: many use a tow bar fitting. Used in conjunction with a trailer-board (we can supply a very economically priced one), this makes for a safe, convenient and legal set-up. We can supply top quality Thule, Westfalia, Witter or Bosal Cycle Carriers products.

My car was reporting a towbar connection fault and a variety of functions had stopped working (adaptive cruise control, lane guidance, emergency braking...). Once the plug on the towbar rack had been removed from the towbar socket it would not go back in. The original work had been done 3 years ago by a company that did not survive the Covid pandemic. What was I to do?
Without any hassle, D&M Towing agreed to see me the same day that I called. They diagnosed the problem as a faulty towbar rack plug (poor quality original). No problem with the original electrical installation of the towbar. Then

Had a detachable Westfalia tow bar fitted recently to my BMW X5.
Really appreciated the team talking me through the pro/cons of each option, as I am a “Newbie” to towing.
Fitting the full 13 pin kit took about 2 hours and they really took care of the car (the fitting bay even has carpet on the floor to prevent any potential for scratches to the bumper while it’s removed).
Looking forward to using it over the next few weeks.

As always, yesterday I had a great service from D&M towing. My family have used Dave for his towing services for years - towbars, bicycle racks, parking sensors, number plates. I got in touch yesterday for a new number plate. Within 30 minutes, I had spoken to Dave, got to the premises, provided proof of ownership and received the new number plate. They very well equipped to deal with the COVID-19 situation. There was a station set up with the usual things you expect, hand gel, gloves, wipes etc. They had also gone above and beyond in providing disposable seat covers amongst other things.
