What a fabulous bunch of people! Would not hesitate to recommend. We moved in the deep snow which came down in Cirencester last Friday, Feb 1st. From the moment they arrived (earlier than expected!), these… guys had a ‘can do’ attitude. Nothing was a problem to them, they worked willingly, happily and very hard all day taking our furniture up an icy drive to the vehicle which could not get nearer to house due to impacted ice and delivered it all safely to our destination, also extremely icy.... Just as I started to flag, at lunchtime, one of them even ran the vacuum cleaner over

Herbert Davis packed and shipped antiques and other valuables to me from Gloucester to the USA with the utmost care and consideration. The trucker who delivered the items said the cabinets they had built to keep my items secure were some of the best he had ever seen. I highly recommend this company.

We moved back in January and this is an over due review.
Herbert Davis were on a short list of companies and we chose them on the basis of confidence and cost. They were professional, polite and reliable from start to finish and made our moving experience much less stressful.
They were actually running to and from the truck to load up, packed our valuables with care (no breakages) and got us away promptly.
It made my choice seem right to see the seller using the (more expensive company on our list) slightly delayed by their comparitive lack of speed.
Hopefully we won't move for a while but
