Sound Advice Acoustics provides comprehensive Environmental Noise Surveys and Impact Assessments for a wide range of projects to help support planning applications. The noise assessments undertaken vary greatly, from a single existing or proposed air conditioning plant to inner city residential developments and large out of town developments.
Sound Advice Acoustics provides a complete and UKAS accredited sound insulation testing service, fully compliant with the Building Regulations Document E 'Resistance to the Passage of Sound' throughout the UK. The acoustic tests evaluate and check the validity of a partitioning structure, separating two adjoining residential developments, in order to fully comply with building regulations.
Air Pressure Testing (also known as an Air Tightness Test, an Air Leak Test or Air Permeability Test) is a pre-completion energy efficiency test for all new developments, from small housing to mixed use. Part L of the Building Regulations, mandatory for air tightness tests, establishes the rate at which air leaks out of a building through gaps or cracks and not via controlled ventilation.
