This is the best saloon ever. Don't look for an other one if you're ready to put a fair price for a professional treatment. Sam is as cute as talented, this is the first time that I leave the saloon with an 100% satisfaction, trust me. Highly recommended, I won't move out from this city just to get a head massage from Sam :D (joke appart, 10/10)!

Lara has been styling and colouring my hair for the past 18 months and it has never looked better. Even in lockdown my hair is keeping its shape and is still easy to style and that is down to the brilliant way… Lara cuts my hair. In the past I have always been a bit scared of going to the hairdressers, but now I really look forward to it! I can’t recommend Lara, and everyone at Electric Hairdressing, enough 🥰

I had never been to Electric Hairdressing before and booked a last minute appointment as my hair was damaged and I was stuck in a rut as I didn’t know what to do with it and needed a new style. My hairdresser… was Georgia who is amazing, welcomed me immediately and made the whole experience wonderful. I have found my new go to hairdressers, I will definitely be returning! :)

. went into electric salon for hair rehab after some highlights disasters, since I've been living in Brighton. Luckily Amie (mid-level stylist) helped me so much. The level of expertise she had was amazing and she tailor-made a special mixture of treatment, toner and highlights to rescue my poor yellow bleached hair, spending a few days considering the best course of action. They even have an in-salon bar with free mulled wine and refreshments and I felt totally at ease there. Their professionalism is second-to-none and the best salon I've been to in Brighton. Their pricing is pretty

Had a major disaster with my hair so called up Electric Hairdressing and they gave me an appointment straight away. I was warmly welcomed and offered a variety of drinks (including wine! ). My hairdresser was Luke, he was so kind, helpful and I left feeling SO happy! He did an incredible job considering my hair was in a challenging state. Strong advised! Thankyou Luke, you brought my hair back to life.

Ive just been to Electric for the first time and I just had to write a review as it was one of the best salon experiences ive had in Brighton.
The salon itself is very modern and comfortable. The receptionist is very sweet and welcoming. They offer lots of lovely free drinks and talk to you like you are a human being (where as some other salons just make up that crap fake chit chat)
I had Natalie who I would highly recommend. She actually took the time to ask what I had wanted and talk through the process of how we would achieve that. She did a fantastic job and I will definately be going

I was first introduced to the salon when I moved here for Uni. I have always been very fussy about my hair and have little trust for hairdressers (traumatic experiences as a child!) so am very wary about who cuts my hair.
I am hooked on this place! I can't compare it to other salons in Brighton as I have vague experience but I definitely have a lot of loyalty to this place. Absolutely adore Will (art director). I've been that many times I don't even have to tell him what to do - he just does it! All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming!
Would certainly recommend.

I wasn't that impressed with this place, I feel it's fairly overrated. They came to our uni during freshers week boasting with 75% off of all hair cuts for students. I went in to enquire about what I wanted done - I needed a full head of foils as I was still building my hair up to being blonde from brown at this stage, and they said I might not need a full head, so I trusted them, they did half a head of foils, I still got charged a reasonable amount seeing as it was 75% off and I wasn't satisfied with the result. Nothing they did was wrong, I just wanted more highlights than they

Electric is a very swish, very hip, very swanky hair salon in the Lanes. A must for everyone wanting to look as cool as it gets, Electric is rapidly becoming Brighton's number one hot-spot for getting your hair done in the wildest, wackiest and best-looking cut you've ever had before. Pricey, but not too much, Electric offers varying levels of price and service, and the value for money here is spot on. I still have yet to find my perfect cut, but the guys here would be my first port of call, should I choose to give up my natural locks and try again to find that perfect look.

Electric is so unbelievably swish, is has an amazing black on white interior decor reminiscent of the star trek enterprise. They have a bar area with leather sofas where you can have a drink while you wait, I was also given several glasses of wine while I was with my stylist.
All the staff are really friendly and helpful, also you get a fringe trip free of charge which you can pop back anytime for. The amazingness of this salon does come with a price though, you're looking at around £70 for a cut and style. It's a really relaxing pampering sesh everytime I go, I highly recommended

This is, without a doubt, the best hair salon in Brighton - and there's nothing I love more than getting my hair cut, styled and finished (except, possibly, shopping).
The salon may not look too modern from the outside, but stepping inside is a world away from the raw edginess of the surrounding Lanes. Having moved to Brighton from a village in Surrey where I'd had my hair cut in the same place for 20 years, this place looked positively space age. And in my book, any salon where you can have a glass of wine or a coffee (dependant on appointment time... or then again, maybe not) along

If your looking for a chic and modern doo than electric is the place to go. With their young but experienced staff they can offer everything from a free fringe trim for previous customers to a complete funky restyle.
I went there to get my dreadocks cut off and they were all so proffessional & supportive. They also worked a miracle as I was left with a bob!
Its location is also a draw as its right in the centre of the lanes and less than a minutes walk from the sea front. There are also a few beauty salons down the same street if you want to kill two birds.
The interier is tres chic black

Sometimes we all want to feel beautiful and we will go to great lengths to make this happen. Well, you don't have to go that far really. Electric Hairdressing is a hop, skip and a jump away from the seafront. It is a rather grand and imposing salon and you may know it in its former carnation as a member of the Saks franchise, but it is now an independent salon run by a team of confident and highly capable professionals. As a customer you feel both welcomed and comfortable in this buzzing environment. While you wait between washes or colours, you can enjoy drinks such as coffee and beer and

This is really funky, cool looking place. This struck me even more than the hairdressing actually. They offer an NUS student discount 50% and they even upgraded me up to a head stylist for no extra charge! The hairdresser didn't rush my hair like some often do and I really enjoyed the whole experience (especially the head massage!)
