We're all back teaching again : Tom, Angus and Claudia are all back teaching lessons, but as usual we're almost at maximum. In our lessons, you'll learn how to hold your instrument and be shown how to create a beautiful sound. Whether you want to learn to play for your own enjoyment or work towards an exam, we can help you reach your goals.

Currently, our Piano and Violin lessons are fully booked. Guitar, Bass and Ukulele lessons are available but not via the booking calendar. On retiring I decided that although having no musical background I would like to try to learn to play guitar. I began with Tom on acoustic and found his teaching approach friendly, enthusiastic, and very motivating.

We recognise that everyone is unique and that no two students are the same. So with this in mind we tailor a personalised lesson plan for each student based on their goals, whether those are short term goals (learn to play a song to the end) or long term goals (study for and sit a graded exam).

No matter what level you learn at, each lesson will be based around core musical elements like time (pulse), rhythm, sound quality and musical character, so that you learn to play your instrument the best you possibly can.Currently, we offer Guitar, Bass, Ukulele, Piano and Violin lessons.

Fantastic tutor who has a lot of patience with children. Offers pupils the opportunity to perform on stage in front of people too to help build their confidence.

Absolutely awesome! Very friendly and most importantly, down earth. Lessons are based around what I want to focus on, not what a book or grade says I should be doing...which I’ve had elsewhere! Tutors don’t hesitate to go the extra mile outside of lessons either, I can’t recommend Moray Music Lessons enough.

Tom is a great guitar teacher. He’s helped me progress a lot and always tailors his lessons to what you want to be learning, giving very useful suggestions on how to improve your technique and style of play. A very nice guy who always makes you feel incredibly comfortable in his lessons.

Our daughter has been going to Tom for about 2 years. She is coming on great with her guitar, then decided she fancied a go with the ukulele, which is going even better.
Tom has a great way with the kids. Jess really enjoys going every week he makes the lesson fun.

Tom Morris at Moray Music lessons is a fantastic guitar teacher. Our boys have had lessons once a week for 18mths have really progressed in ability and confidence. They have performed at small local gigs and music nights and really look forward to their lessons. We would definitely recommend Moray Music
