It is odd when companies refer to the pitching process as a beauty parade, as in our experience many organisations have no idea how to construct a meaningful PR brief. As a result the whole process ends up being a pretty ugly business! When it comes to briefing a PR agency it's a case of rubbish in rubbish out!
How do you measure the return on investment of a PR campaign? This is a question that we and other PR agencies are constantly asked by current and prospective clients alike. It's a fair question. Whether you do-it-yourself or hire an agency, public relations will suck up precious time or budget. So you want to know whether it's worth that investment.
It is perhaps one of the most common questions we are asked. Should I go the in-house route or use a consultancy? It's pretty obvious why you might go the DIY route. Hiring your very own 100% committed member of staff seems a no-brainer. It seems cheaper and it's easier to monitor what someone is doing when they are based in your company, and there are no confidentiality issues to worry about.
Great PR is a phenomenally powerful thing. It can attract new customers, make commercial partners more likely to approach you, and open up new markets and territories for your business. It can drive visitors to your website and increase the amount of time they spend. It can build loyalty to a brand and inspire the internal sales team to shift more products.

A really good PR agency who have worked very hard in helping us expand our brand through content online. This has resulted in several high authority backlinks to our website, boosting search engine performance, and traffic to our website.
A great and dedicated team who have dovetailed perfectly with our SEO strategy.

The Team at Energy PR have always been fantastic and friendly people to deal with. We see them as our 'trusted advisers' and look forward to their ideas and creativity around the areas that we are looking to focus on. The 'Digging Up Britain' reports that they created are an industry first and testament to their approach.

Energy PR have been an absolute pleasure to work with. They have exceeded our expectations in helping us promote our show. They are enthusiastic, incredibly polite and are always prompt in response. They secured us bigger coverage of our show than we could have imagined and would highly recommend any company to use them.
