Imagine waking up to stunning views across a gorgeous North Wales valley looking out toward a mountain range so special it's been designated an area of outstanding natural beauty. Have you ever wanted to go camping in the countryside but don't like being cold, wet and miserable? Can't be bothered with camping stoves and tent poles? We feel exactly the same, so we've created something special.

At Clwydian Holidays, we're all about insulation, radiators, home comforts, great rural views and peace and quiet. What an absolute pleasure it was to stay at Clywidian Wigwams. Ray the owner makes the stay so much more personal!
With only 4 wigwams and 3 tent pitches it's a very small site, but don't let that put you off, it's a lovely little site to stay on. Ray greeted us when we arrived and showed us around the site and the wigwam, which made finding what we needed that little bit easier. He's available whenever you need him, and nothing is too much to ask. If he can help, then he will!
There's a nice little walk into the woods with some idilic views and a couple of rope swings for the kids, which ours

I would highly recommend these wigwams for a family holiday. The family that host are very friendly and accommodating. The surroundings are beautiful on a clear night you can see loads of stars. It has good kitchen and shower facilities. The highlight of our holiday was sitting around our camp fire every night with music and a glass of wine.

Lovely little gem of a campsite in the beautiful Welsh countryside near Ruthin. Just four glamping pods and space for a few tents so ideal for small, self contained groups like we were. Good facilities, spotlessly clean, dog friendly and very helpful and friendly owners. Lots of lovely walks in the area.

Just arrived home from an absolutely amazing few days away for Christmas. We arrived on Christmas Eve for three nights. Raymond, Rose and Gareth greeted us. The site was all decorated for the festive season, even the dining table in the kitchen. The tea and coffee facilities in the pod was a lovely surprise, a first for us when pod camping. The site, pods, kitchen and shower block were immaculate! So clean, another first for us! You couldn't wish for better hosts and location. "We'll be back" All the best for 2020!
